The cognates in Macedonia were not forgotten in Eid al-Adha

The mayors of CHP, who provided sacrificial animal meat support to those in need in Istanbul during the Eid al-Adha, also extended their helping hand to our Muslim cognates living in Macedonia.

Sacrificed animals for our Muslim cognates living in Struga and its region, the sister city of Büyükçekmece in Macedonia, were distributed to the homes of families in need.

The delegation, which went to Struga under the leadership of Hasan Akkuş, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Coordinator of the Civil Society Organizations, sacrificed 70 rams bought with the support of Ekrem İmamoğlu, the mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and Dr. Hasan Akgün, the mayor of Büyükçekmece, and distributed them to our cognates in need.
